Zen Edition is an Early Access title, meaning it's unfinished, and it was intended to be that way.A full-scale graphical overhaul is perhaps one of the costliest possible updates for the game.Zen Edition has potential to become a remaster, but there are no guarantees when and if it's going to happen. This is generally why the work is going slow (apart from the game's code being difficult and capricious when it comes to Steam integrations). Most notably - FullHD Widescreen resolution (the only one though), Steam Multiplayer (albeit not being 100% stable). The Steam version (Zen Edition) has already received a bunch of updates that make it quite different from the legacy version of the game. After the game's initial release, Ubisoft had the rights to BR, but Ed Del Castillo bought them back quite a while ago. Liquid and Crave have dissolved by now.The Steam version is worked on by a small indie team led by Ed Del Castillo (the original designer of the game and founder/president of Liquid). The legacy game was worked on by 3 professional studios: Liquid, Crave and Ubisoft. This is not a re-release of the old game, but a re-launch, meaning the game will be continiously receiving updates and improvements.'CTRL+D' and many other early bugs were fixed in Battle Pack 1, a little after the legacy game's initial release, that'd be 19 years ago.Hello there, it's unfortunate that we've left a negative impression on you.
